===Schizophrenia=== The volume of white matter in the caudate nucleus has been linked with patients diagnosed with [[schizophrenia]]. A 2004 study uses [[magnetic resonance imaging]] to compare the relative volume of white matter in the caudate among schizophrenia patients.
