The Delivery of Books Act 1954 enacted by the Indian parliament regulates the deposit of books published in India to the [[National Library of India]], Kolkata and three other libraries namely, [[Connemara Public Library]], Chennai; Central Library, Mumbai and the [[Delhi Public Library]].
