(the North American division of Serco Group) was awarded a US$1.25{{nbsp}}billion contract from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (a division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to provide Eligibility Support Services (i.e., the βCMS-ESSβ contract), in support of the [[Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act]].
