===Awards and honors=== Diamond Jenness received many distinguished awards and honors in recognition of his contributions to his profession. In 1953 Jenness was awarded a [[List of Guggenheim Fellowships awarded in 1953|Guggenheim Fellowship]].<ref>Jenness, Diamond and Stuart E. Jenness, 2008.
