==Tools== With respect to tools, ambidextrous may be used to mean that the tool may be used equally well with either hand; an "ambidextrous knife" refers to the opening mechanism and locking mechanism on a folding knife. It can also mean that the tool can be interchanged between left and right in some other way, such as an "ambidextrous headset," which can be worn on either the left or right ear.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.tout-lemonde.com/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=174|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20081205095305/http://www.tout-lemonde.com/?page=shop%2Fflypage&product_id=174|url-status=dead|archive-date=5 December 2008|title=Pruner -Thumb Lock LEFT or RIGHT HAND|date=5 December 2008|access-date=4 June 2017|df=dmy-all}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.slashgear.com/logitech-cordless-vantage-headset-for-ps3-137352.php|title=Logitech Cordless Vantage Headset for PS3|date=13 September 2007}}</ref> Many tools and implements are made specifically for use in the right hand, and will not work properly if used in the other hand.
