In 2008, the Pathway to the Rockies Council acquired a beautiful parcel of land containing 200 acres just outside of Woodland Park in a gift from the estate of Leonard Johnson Jr. The property is surrounded on most sides by the Pike National Forest. The property is hilly with several streams running through the property. The land is covered with varieties of foliage including pine, cedar, and of course Aspen. Wildlife is abundant and includes a herd of Elk, deer, bear, red-tailed hawks, eagles, foxes, coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, and much more.
