The patron saint of Legnano is [[Magnus (bishop of Milan)|Saint Magno]], archbishop of Milan from 518 to 530, whose anniversary is celebrated on 5 November. The majority of the population is [[Catholic Church]]. The immigration of EU and non-EU citizens has led to the establishment of large [[Oriental Orthodox Churches|Orthodox]], [[Muslims]] and [[Christianity|Christian]] minorities.
