==European history== {{main|FC Dnipro in European football}} FC Dnipro participates in European competitions since 1984 after playing its first against [[Trabzonspor]]. Since 2001, however, the club participates almost on annual basis with variable successes. This was interrupted in 2016, when, despite finishing third place, Dnipro was forbidden to play in the European competitions by UEFA. {| class="toccolours" border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" align="left" style="margin:0.5em;" |- bgcolor="#CADCFB" !
