==Crate engines== In the 2000s, [[Ford Racing]] Performance Parts sold two "Boss" [[crate engine]]s and at least one 351 block. Deck height choices include {{cvt|9.2|in|mm|0}} and {{cvt|9.5|in|mm|0}}. Maximum displacements are {{cvt|4.25|in|mm|0}} stroke and {{cvt|4.125|in|mm|0}} bore. The resulting maximum displacement is {{cvt|{{engine size|stroke=4.25|bore=4.125|cyl=8|rnd=2}}|cuin|cc|0}}. The uncross-drilled block with increased bore capacity became available from the third quarter of 2009. A {{cvt|427|cuin|cc |0}} Boss 351-based crate engine producing {{cvt|535|hp|kW|0}} was available from the first quarter of 2010.
