==== Iraq War ==== {{Main|Human shield action to Iraq}} During the [[2003 Invasion of Iraq]], a group of people chose to travel to Iraq to act as human shields. Their purpose was to prevent [[Coalition of the willing|American-led coalition forces]] from bombing certain locations.
