Atypical [[Idiopathic inflammatory demyelinating diseases|variants]] of MS have been described; these include [[tumefactive multiple sclerosis]], [[Balo concentric sclerosis]], [[Diffuse myelinoclastic sclerosis|Schilder's diffuse sclerosis]], and [[Marburg multiple sclerosis]].
