=== Post-war period === In 1947 the name of the bank was changed to "Commercial Credit Bank". The bank promoted a new corporate identity, renamed itself "Credit Bank" and adopted the reverse of the silver stater of Aegina as its archetype.[17] In 1979 the bank celebrated its 100th anniversary.
