The labial and labialized consonants have labiodental affricate allophones before {{IPA|/ə/}} (but not in {{IPA|/[[consonant|C]]ɻə/}} consonant clusters). In addition, about half the time, the rhotic becomes syllabic (a [[rhotic vowel]]) in this environment:
