===Muscles=== The arm is divided by a [[fascia]]l layer (known as lateral and medial [[lateral intermuscular septum of arm|intermuscular septa]]) separating the muscles into two ''osteofascial compartments'': the [[Anterior compartment of the arm|anterior]] and the [[Posterior compartment of the arm|posterior compartments of the arm]].
