Unlike benzodiazepines, azapirones lack [[abuse potential]] and are not [[Substance use disorder|addictive]], do not cause [[cognitive deficit|cognitive/memory impairment]] or [[sedation]], and do not appear to induce appreciable [[Drug tolerance|tolerance]] or [[physical dependence]].
