In the pre-''[[Zero Hour: Crisis in Time!|Zero Hour]]'' Legion, Cosmic Boy is romantically involved with [[Night Girl]] (Lydda Jath), whom he eventually marries. During the [[Batch SW6|"Five Year Gap"]] following the Magic Wars, he loses his powers during a war between Braal and Imsk and leaves the Legion.

Rokk later returns to the Legion as '''Polestar''', using special gauntlets to recreate his old abilities.
