==Coventry Victor motorcycles== In 1919 Coventry-Victor, using their 688 cc flat-twin engine, started making motorcycle and [[sidecar]] combinations, many of which were used as commercial outfits and became one of England's leading producers of horizontally opposed twins.<ref name="Tragatsch">{{cite book|last=Tragatsch|first=Erwin|title=The New Illustrated Encyclopedia of Motorcycles|year=2000|publisher=Quantum Publishing|location=London|isbn=1861603428|pages=560}}</ref> They also had a factory in [[Brussels]], and in 1922 they sold one of their motorcycles to "H.M. King of the Belgians", with all parts being made in Coventry and assembled in Brussels.<ref>"Royal Honour for a Coventry Motor-Cycle Firm", ''Coventry Standard'', 1 July 1922, p2</ref> The 1927 Coventry-Victor Silent Six has today become a sought after classic motorcycle.{{CN|date=May 2021}} Motorcycle production ended in 1936.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.ianchadwick.com/motorcycles/britbikes/brit_c.html|title=Coventry-Victor motorcycles|accessdate=2008-11-15}}</ref> The company supplied engines to many motorcycle and [[cyclecar]] makers.
