===Proposals=== The future Green Line was studied as two separate segments: the Northwest Corridor (from present-day North Carrollton/Frankford to Victory) and the Southeast Corridor (from present-day Deep Ellum to Buckner). When the Southeast Corridor was originally proposed, two options were considered for the final segment past Lake June Transit Center. One option would utilize an existing Southern Pacific rail corridor paralleling US 175, while the other would create a new corridor along Lake June Road stretching into the Pleasant Grove neighborhood. Both proposals terminated at Buckner Boulevard. The first proposal was ultimately chosen due to higher costs and neighborhood opposition associated with the second.<ref>{{cite news |last1=Hartzel |first1=Tony |title=DART rail path finalized - Track won't trace Lake June Road |url=https://infoweb.newsbank.com/apps/news/openurl?ctx_ver=z39.88-2004&rft_id=info%3Asid/infoweb.newsbank.com&svc_dat=WORLDNEWS&req_dat=0FC00B934DD580D0&rft_val_format=info%3Aofi/fmt%3Akev%3Amtx%3Actx&rft_dat=document_id%3Anews%252F0ED8227B68F3909D |work=The Dallas Morning News |publisher=[[DallasNews Corporation|A.
