==Regeneration== Cheltenham West wards, particularly Hesters Way, have been the focus of regeneration since the 1990s, with projects like the Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project establishing resource and community centres.<ref>{{cite web |title=About Us |url=http://hwpartnership.org.uk/about |publisher=Hesters Way Partnership |access-date=10 August 2020 |archive-date=24 April 2020 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200424025535/http://hwpartnership.org.uk/about |url-status=live }}</ref> In 2017, Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Borough Homes instigated a joint “Cheltenham West Vision” listening project. Local residents were invited to give their views on a new vision for the area. The Vision also consolidated the designation of “Cheltenham West” to describe the area.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.cbh.org/cheltwest/|title=CBH – Cheltenham West Vision|website=www.cbh.org|language=en-GB|access-date=2018-05-16|archive-date=2018-05-17|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180517165925/https://www.cbh.org/cheltwest/|url-status=live}}</ref> In addition, several new private housing developments have been completed. The largest of these being on the site vacated by GCHQ, when it moved to its new site, also located in Hesters Way.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Green |first1=Chris |title=History of Hesters War Vol 4 |url=http://www.historyofhestersway.co.uk/hestersway4.pdf |publisher=Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project |access-date=10 August 2020}}</ref>
