Huntingdon lies in the [[parliamentary constituency]] of [[Huntingdon (UK Parliament constituency)|the same name]] (formerly [[Huntingdonshire (UK Parliament constituency)|Huntingdonshire]]). [[Ben Obese-Jecty]] [[Member of parliament|MP]] [[Conservative Party (UK)|(Conservative)]] was elected to this seat in the [[House of Commons of the United Kingdom|House of Commons]] in 2024, replacing [[Jonathan Djanogly]].<ref name=OSelec/>
