'''Line 2''' is a {{convert|29.1|km|mi|adj=on|sp=us}} north-south [[Medium-capacity rail transport system|light metro]] line. After seven years of construction, the line opened for regular service on July 30, 2016. There are transfer points at [[Geomam station|Geomam]] (with [[AREX]]), [[Juan Station|Juan]] (with [[Seoul Subway Line 1]]), and [[Incheon City Hall Station|Incheon City Hall]] (with Incheon Line 1). Line 2 has aboveground sections north of Asiad Stadium. The color of the line is Orange.

The line uses 37 2-car trains, all of which were built in 2013 by Hyundai Rotem.
