===Rebellion revival===
In September 2021 it was announced that [[Rebellion Developments|Rebellion]], publishers of ''[[2000 AD (comics)|2000 AD]]'', would be relaunching the comic in April 2022, "revived and reimagined for today's kids".<ref>{{cite web |last1=Tantimedh |first1=Adi |title=Monster Fun: Rebellion Launches New British Kids' Comic in April 2022 |url=https://bleedingcool.com/comics/monster-fun-rebellion-launches-new-british-kids-comic-in-april-2022/ |website=Bleeding Cool News And Rumors |access-date=21 September 2021 |language=en |date=20 September 2021}}</ref>

Unlike the original IPC run, the Rebellion revival will be published every two months, rather than weekly. Characters who will appear within the comics include Frankie Stein, Kid Kong, Draculass, Sweeny Toddler, Gums, Teddy Scare, and The Leopard from Lime Street.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://monsterfun.co.uk/|title=Monster Fun Comics Shop|publisher=[[Rebellion Publishing]]|accessdate=12 February 2022}}</ref> The first issue in October 2021 was not part of the main sequence, as the publication's main subscription started from April 2022.

The comic continued on a monthly basis, with new strips added occasionally (for example, #20 was advertised in issue 19 as containing 3 new strips: Sir Render, The Fright-Shift ('Hire a Horror Presents') and Sally Astro).
