=== British statistics === In Great Britain, statistics are available on the number of vehicles involved in crashes. * In 2013, there were: 42,487 single-vehicle crashes, 82,429 dual-vehicle crashes, and 13,744 crashes involving three or more vehicles ({{#expr:13744/138660 * 100 round 0}}%) for a total of 138,660 reported crashes. In crashes with three or more vehicles, there were 228 motorists killed and 19 pedestrians killed. * In 2020, there were: 25,730 single-vehicle crashes, 57,392 dual-vehicle crashes, and 8,077 crashes involving three or more vehicles ({{#expr:8077/91199 * 100 round 0}}%) for a total of 91,199 reported crashes.
