The second version was Kondrati Topolov, the [[Mutant (Marvel Comics)|mutant]] formerly known as [[Gremlin (comics)|Gremlin]],<ref>''Iron Man Manual Mark 3''</ref> and served with the Soviet-era [[superhero]] group, the [[Soviet Super-Soldiers]]. He was killed in combat with [[Iron Man]] during the first "[[Armor Wars]]" when the titanium in the suit exceeded its combustible temperature.
