Univers enjoyed great popularity in the 1960s and 1970s because many corporations adopted it for usage. [[Apple Inc.]] previously used this typeface as well as its condensed oblique variant for the keycaps on many of its keyboards.<ref>{{Cite web |last=Jones |first=D.
