==Geography==

Valley View is located in southern Cooke County. [[Interstate 35 in Texas|Interstate 35]]/[[U.S. Route 77 in Texas|U.S. Route 77]] passes just east of the center of town, with access from exits 485 through 487. The highway leads north {{Convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Gainesville, Texas|Gainesville]], the [[county seat]], and south {{convert|20|mi}} to [[Denton, Texas|Denton]].
