Haye promoted Groves from 2008 to 2009.]] On 20 January 2017, Haye announced he would combine his Hayemaker promotions with [[Richard Schaefer]]'s Ringstar Sport to create Hayemaker Ringstar, which would be based in the UK and rival Eddie Hearn's [[Matchroom Sport]] and Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions. They would also promote shows in the US. The deal would be for 3 years which would show five fight nights per year.
