Several mainly ice-free ridges and spurs extending over a distance of about {{convert|12|mi}}, east-west, in the northwest part of the Cook Mountains.
The individual ridges are {{convert|1|to|2|mi}} long and project northward from the higher main ridge.
Mapped by the USGS from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1959-63.
The descriptive name was given by the US-ACAN.{{sfn|Alberts|1995|p=240}}
