Digital Repository Audit Method Based On Risk Assessment ([[DRAMBORA]]), introduced by the [[Digital Curation Centre]] (DCC) and DigitalPreservationEurope (DPE) in 2007, offers a methodology and a toolkit for digital repository risk assessment.<ref name="DRAMBORA-2007">{{Citation

}}</ref> The tool enables repositories to either conduct the assessment in-house (self-assessment) or to outsource the process.

The DRAMBORA process is arranged in six stages and concentrates on the definition of mandate, characterization of asset base, identification of risks and the assessment of likelihood and potential impact of risks on the repository.
