Four Greenfinches were killed as active servicewomen between 1974 and 1992.<ref>Potter 2001, p. 115-121</ref> The first was Private Eva Martin, age 28, fatally wounded by rocket fragments on 3 May 1974 during a [[Attack on UDR Clogher barracks|PIRA attack on 6 UDR's outlying base at the Deanery, Clogher]].
