I am new to editing in Wikipedia. I could not figure out how to correctly do a citation. Is there a simple explanation anywhere? I wanted to place the latest citation as number 19 in citation list. If you could take a look for me and make suggestion or correction I would appreciate it. The edit was the inclusion of the latest study with latest lithic dating for the site.

Editors do not assign numbers to citations (often also called references). The mediawiki software does that automatically when a citation is formatted correctly.
