What is a user subpage, and how do you create it?

:You go to your user page (that's <nowiki>[[User:YOUR USER NAME]]</nowiki>) and edit the page to create a subpage. For example, to create one called "Foo", it might look like this:

::My views on Wikipedia policy are best laid out in this subpage, <nowiki>[[/foo]]</nowiki>

:Then, to link to it from external pages, type <nowiki>[[User:YOUR USER NAME/foo]]</nowiki>.
