=== Control flow restrictions === Though a relatively new concept stemming from computational systems, the notion of control flow and its various restrictions in the context of geometry are also the subject of study. As it applies to the geometrical constructions, these restrictions are typically ones placed on the geometer. As with the case of constructible numbers, prohibitions against arbitrary point placement is one possible control flow restriction, previously discussed in this article. In the aforementioned Mohr-Mascheroni Theorem, restrictions on compass radius could be imposed, such as minimums and maximums given a set of starting points. Other examples may include restrictions on construction sequences and order, decision branching, and repetition or reiteration of steps. Another example of such a restriction is that demonstrated in Pythagorea - a gamified app and website geared toward teaching geometric concepts - in which only the straightedge is used, the geometer has only a set of uniformly-spaced lattice points upon which to begin constructions, and new points can only be constructed through intersections.
