===Site C Dam===
While BC Hydro initially looked at [[Site C dam|Site C]] on the Peace River near Fort St. John in the late 1950s, it wasn't until 1982 that it submitted a [[Site C dam|Site C]] development project to the [[British Columbia Utilities Commission]] (BCUC).
