The Nuggets won the 2023 NBA championship at home in Game 5 on June 12 of that year, the first title in franchise history, ending a 47βyear drought. The arena has hosted games of the [[NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament]] in 2004, 2008, 2011, 2016, and 2023.
