Cabinteely lies just off the [[N11 road (Ireland)|N11]]. It is also accessible from Dún Laoghaire and the [[M50 motorway (Ireland)|M50]], via junction 15 ''[[Carrickmines]]''.

[[Finnegan's]] operate a bus service from [[Bray Daly railway station|Bray DART station]] to [[Sandyford Luas stop|the Luas stop in Sandyford]], via Cabinteely.
