It was exhibited at the [[Brussels International Exposition (1935)|World's Fair]] that year.<ref name="Newton-Octo"/> Its lowest note, C{{sub|0}} (written D{{sub|3}}), is the lowest note on a [[Eight-foot pitch|32′]] pedal [[organ stop]].
