==Public service== Geary contributed to the 1998 Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/ma/cf/index.asp |title=Curriculum Frameworks - Mathematics (CA Dept of Education) |publisher=Cde.ca.gov |access-date=2015-10-17}}</ref> and in 2006 was appointed to the President's National Mathematics Advisory Panel.
