==Geography==
Excelsior is in [[Hennepin County]], [[Minnesota]], on [[Lake Minnetonka]]'s south shore. It is approximately {{convert|15|mi}} southwest of [[Minneapolis]] and bordered by [[Shorewood, Minnesota|Shorewood]] and [[Greenwood, Minnesota|Greenwood]].
