==Personal life==
Gregg had two marriages. He married Barbara Sue Leach in 1954.  He married his second wife, Barbara Dedek in 1960.

He retired to [[Colorado Springs, Colorado]]. In addition to his wife, he was survived by a son, Forrest Jr.; a daughter, Karen Gregg Spehar; and several siblings.
