In June 2010, the company acquired British railfreight company First GBRf for £31&nbsp;million from [[FirstGroup]], to be merged into its [[Europorte]] subsidiary. In June 2018, Getlink and auditor [[Ernst & Young|EY]] jointly presented a recent study on UK–Europe trade flows via the Channel Tunnel to the [[European Commission]].
