==Political leanings== Jenner was a [[Tory]] and [[Jacobitism|Jacobite]]. He and his wife supported the [[Order of the White Rose (1886β1915)|Order of the White Rose]], a society of [[House of Stuart|Stuart]] sympathizers which he had founded in 1891,<ref>{{cite book |title=The Role of Jacobitism in the Modern World |first=Robert F. J. |last=Parsons |publisher=Royal Stuart Society |date=1986 |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=9DFWAAAAYAAJ}}</ref> and of which he was chancellor. He also actively supported ''The Royalist'', a journal which ran from 1890 to 1905.<ref>{{cite encyclopedia|publisher=[[Oxford Dictionary of National Biography]]|title=Henry Jenner|author=P. W. Thomas|date=May 2005|url=http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/75066|access-date=14 January 2010}}</ref> He was a key figure in the [[Neo-Jacobite Revival]] of the 1890s.
