The building was purchased by the John Buck Company in December 2004 for [[United States dollar|US$]]225&nbsp;million. Just over a year later in January 2006, the company began looking for new buyers. In August 2006 it was sold to The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., for approximately $277&nbsp;million.
