His wife, the former Patricia Ann "Pat" Schierbrock (February 22, 1927 — August 2, 2022), was the daughter of Josephine (''née'' Wilson) and Frank H. Lujack was distantly related to NFL player [[Ben Skowronek]] and Olympic gymnast [[Courtney Kupets]].
