There are no diphthongs, although vowel sequences can occur at morpheme boundaries.

The phoneme {{IPA link|ɨ|/ɨ/}} is phonetically {{IPA link|ɯ|[ɯ̈]}}, and {{IPA link|a|/a/}} is phonetically {{IPA link|a|[ä]}}.
