Lambda Chi Alpha was founded in [[Boston]], Massachusetts, in 1909. For the first decade of its existence, the fraternity lacked a central office and records were divided between the homes of Grand High Alpha [[Warren A. Later that year, it relocated to [[Indianapolis]], where many other [[Fraternities and Sororities|fraternity and sorority]] national headquarters are located.
