Its {{convert|1400|hp|kW}} T53 hybrid [[free turbine]] / [[shaft turbine]] engine initially powered the [[Bell UH-1|Bell UH-1 "Huey"]], and Lycoming's {{convert|4000|hp|kW}} T55 is the main power for the twin-turbine, twin-rotor [[Boeing CH-47 Chinook]].
