==Death==
Robbins developed [[cardiovascular disease]] early in life, and suffered a first myocardial infarction in 1969. After his third heart attack on December 2, 1982, he underwent quadruple [[coronary artery bypass surgery]]. He did not recover, and died on December 8, at [[St. Thomas Hospital (Nashville, Tennessee)|St. Thomas Hospital]] in Nashville.
