==Neighborhoods== {{Main|List of Netanya neighborhoods}} [[File:Laniado 1.JPG|right|thumb|[[Laniado Hospital]]]] === Kiryat Sanz === In 1956, a beachfront in northern Netanya was selected as a home base for the [[Sanz (Hasidic dynasty)|Sanzer]] [[Hasidic Judaism|Hasidim]] by its leader, Rabbi [[Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam]]. The neighborhood was established during the Second World War and is named after the port city of [[Tobruk]] in Libya. It used to be a center of [[Diamond cutting]]. Ein Hatkhelet was established as a working-class neighborhood in [[Emek Hefer]] in 1936.
