=== Taiwan === In [[Taiwan]], "peace through strength" is a slogan of [[Taiwanese nationalism]], meaning to emphasize Taiwan's sovereignty, strengthen its military power, and work with the [[United States]] and [[Japan]] to guard against possible aggression by the [[People's Republic of China]].
